The voluntary sector holds communities together.

But who holds the voluntary sector together?

Charity Glue aims to answer that question.

We’re not quite ready yet, but if you work with a charity, community organisation,
or social enterprise, we’d love you to be part of what comes next.

You already know this feeling…

The late nights finishing a funding bid that took three times as long as it should have. The exciting new project you want to launch, but lack of money and experience means you’re trying to do it all yourself. The meetings that should have happened, the collaborations that almost got off the ground, the know-how that was never quite shared between organisations.

People working in the voluntary sector do extraordinary things. But they do too much of it alone.

Sector infrastructure - the systems, networks, and support that help organisations connect and grow - is chronically underfunded and largely unseen. The work of holding together organisations, and the sector more widely, rarely makes it into annual reports, and yet with individuals trying to fill the gaps, everything is so much harder than it should be.

New Ideas,
Real Impact.

We’re in the early stages of building a network designed for people who work in the voluntary sector, a space to connect with peers who understand your world and share what’s working for them. A space to work through the challenges of the sector, and face them with others standing alongside you.
